it's 2007!oh my goodness.
2006 really flew by.
with a new school, a new environment, many new challenges..
with so many things thrown at me.
losing things that meant a lot to me,
reciving pleasant surpirses and blessings in disguises,
where things werent just black and white anymore,
where the sun only began to shine again after a long time.
but i guess im still glad for 2006.
somehow i got to know so many more people,
got to see sides of people- both good and ugly,
and you know,
i learnt that the judgment cast on a person at first sight, is not necessarily wrong afterall.
maybe its just 6th sense.
yet as always, there are things that cant be seen on first sight.
and now..
2007.
i really wonder where and what it'll lead me to.
ok, so the last few days have been rather hectic.
haha.
28th Decwent to school for OGL stuff, then later met my dearest yen7 who stayed over at my house!
haha.
we bridge-ed, big2-ed, talked, watched a movie..
they rock!
29th Decyen7 left, then i met my girls for dim sum buffet!
whao.
Cel, Rach, Joyce and i ate to our hearts content.
and we were all ready to burst by the time we left!
oh, and being the bridge fanatics we are, we even played a few rounds of bridge at the restaurant, with other customers giving us weird looks as they passed us by.
HAHA.
and then we walked and shopped around Chinatown.
30th Deci think i spent the day roting at home.
oh, and attempting some homework.
i really am done for for math!
every one question done leads to another that i cant do.
31th DecNEW YEAR'S EVE!i woke up, attempted some math and headed off to church.
had a thanksgiving service and then it was fun, fun and more fun!
Cel, Rach, Joyce, Ben, Andre, Joachim, my brother and i had dinner at this stall a stone's throw away from church, and YES, we bridge-ed AGAIN.
i think Angora's youths are turning into bridge fanatics, and the YOUTHub our new gambling den!
HAHA.
then we made our way to Vic's house for yet another fun-filled stayover.
many of the younger youths were already there when we arrived,
we changed and soon began to bridge again!
HAHA.
so the night went by as follows:
bridge, bridge, bridge, more people came, youths, young adults.. quick countdown, bridge, food, waste time, bridge, then Rach and i attempted to duet with songs from the Sonatina music book, then we talked, talked, joined some and watched LOTR..
and before we all knew it..
DAYBREAK!
another fun-filled sleepless night spent with this fun group of people!

haha and bridge was fun.
playing with diffrent people- Cel, Andre, Eng Soon, Melvin, my brother, Joyce, Rachel..
and previously, with people like Andrew, Jonathan, Aaron, Terence..
it's really amazing how a game breaks the ice between people.
many of these who were like.. people whom i registered, and they registered my existence, but we were never really aquainted..
haha.
and im actually beginning to see a light in a way i never have.
1st Jan 2007my brother and i cabbed home again and i slept til 3.
haha.
a day and a half before school reopens once again.
sigh.
time flies.
orientation 2007.
i hope things go smoothly and that i dont mess up.
and yes..
the first meeting of the year, the first of the first of my new cell group- this sat.
with people that ive always been intimidated by. (ok, just the guys, not my girls)
not like intimidated intimidated, but with these group of guys that ive never had much in common with except for the fact that we attend the same church and that they are merely 2 years ahead of me- education wise..
somehow.. it gets more than a little overwhelming and i cant help feeling inferior. always have.
plus they come from prestigous schools, get good grades, have bright futures..
so, i really wonder how things will work out in this new cell of mine.
i really wonder how much time it'll take to break the ice.
so..
the first entry of 2007 now comes to a close.
