potency of impotency, or impotency of potency?

hallelujah to me.
i screwed both my chinese test and history mock exam today.

you know,
i think i'll always remember Othello because of Ms G and Mr Mark Tan.
see..
"Othello is the lusty old man married to a young spunky chicken (Desdemona)."
or so Mr Tan said somthing like that.
and -
"Othello is a tragedy because it involves MEN jumoing at MEN and not getting it right."
or so Ms G mentioned something like that.
so MEN OF VENICE = IMPOTENT?
hmm..
both in and out of bed?
this is what they left us.

i've always known Othello to be a pretty sexual play, but Mr Mark Tan and Ms G really made it come more alive.
HAHA.

come to think of it, Othello really is a lusty old men at 50, and Desdemona a spunky young chicken at 15. (i think)
and MEN jumping at MEN and not getting it right?
the fights in Othello have never been.. properly fought and won although Othello is supposed to be this high ranking military official or something.
and when they DO succeed in GETTING each other, it is at the weirdest places.
like for Cassio, the legs.
and Othello couldnt even stab Iago with his many weapons.
and though married for the short time in the play, Othello didnt get the chance to de-flower Desdemona before he killed her.
so.. impotency.. eh?

HAHAHAHA.

poor Othello.

i still prefer King Lear.
